Well i just finished reading the first two chapters of the novel Forrest Gump by Winston Groom. It's very suprising so far, Forrest meets Jenny Curran and likes her right away just like in the movie but Forrest gets sent to "the nut school" as Forrest calls it. He stays there for about 5-6 years. Forrest transfers back to his district to the highschool he would of gone to in the first place. By the time he's 16-years-old, he's 6'6" 242 lbs. The football coach at the highschool thinks Forrest has potential because of his size so he interest Forrest in playing and trys him at lineman. That doesnt work out so well, cknows Forrest has the ability to hit someone hard but Forrest says he doesnt want to hurt anyone. I'm wondering what the coach has in mind for Forrest since this is'nt working. I'm really enjoying the book so far. I like how the author put the intelligence of Forrest into play, spelling words wrong and spelling simple words such as "and" like "an" to show how they talk down south.
