Author's Style is how the author writes. What does the author do in their novels to make them interesting? What narritive voice do they write in? Do they use a lot of descriptions? What genres do they write?
I think Winston Groom's style fits well with the genre of Forrest Gump. The genre is realistic fiction. He talks in first person like he's Forrest. He spells words wrong and spells some words how people down south say them. I really enjoy that because it makes me feel like I'm reading the story of Forrest Gump's life and he wrote it. I feel like the life of Forrest Gump could be someones life because of the way Winston wr When Winston describes things, he uses lots of details so you can picture what Forrest sees.

So in the book did forest ever learn to write better and begin to spell corectly? Was he able to be educated or have mental issues?

My author Stephen King writes like that too in my book. Since my book takes place in a prison, King writes as if he was a prisoner and in the same situation as one of the main characters. It really makes me feel like I'm in prison with the main characters.

The way everything in my book was written was almost like yours. Margaret Mitchell, my author, didn't write in first person, but she spelled the words the same way you say them down in the south.

My novel is in third person, but it does sort of the same thing. The characters act as if they are from different areas. Like Gandalf acts very high and noble because he is essentially a god figure in the novels. Aragorn holds himself with great dignity because of his ancestry of Isildur and his right to be king of Gondor. The hobbits act very strange, compared to the others, mostly because they are different than the others.

My book is also like written like realistic fiction. In my novel Sherlock Holmes is not a real person, but talks like one and there is nothing about the book that couln't happen in real life. I think that this is the same in your book because even though forsest does some pretty awesome stuff like Holmes, it could happen.
