Overall I enjoyed the film version of Forrest Gump. I could really understand Forrest and his mind through how Tom Hanks portrayed the role of Forrest. Most of the casting of characters was right on point. I like how not everything from the book was in the movie which made the story more realistic. I liked the little plot twist here and there. Eventhough I enjoyed the film version better, the novel was also very entertaining and kept me interested. I liked the differences between the novel and the film because I didn't know if the situations were going to be the same or if somethings that happened in one of them wouldn't of happened in the other.
